      Even the best laid plans can sometimes create a miscommunication.  We announced on Sunday that during the Fall we are going to use Sunday mornings as a retreat time.  Starting in September we are going to use our time of worship as a time to recast, rediscover if you will, what God would will for New Heritage moving forward.

We are having out fourth concert on Saturday Night, July 18th. This month’s concert really is a family event. The Bands booked will be geared toward the whole family so we would love to have you all there!

To make this a real family event we will also be offering up an old fashioned barbeque dinner of brisket, beans, potato salad, the works!!!

Charlie Shedd was the original Christian Marriage and Family guru back in the 60’s! Charlie was James Dobson before James Dobson was. I remember listening to a tape of Charlie as a part of my “marriage” preparation before DeAnne and I married. In the course of this taped lecture Charlie said that the greatest gift a dad could give his children was to love their mother.
