I remember when I came face to face with grace. The exposure came, not through deep Bible Study or the spirited oratory of a great preacher, it came to me through a little book by Fritz Ridenour, “How to be a Christian Without Being Religious.” Through Fritz’s writing I discovered the overwhelming and unconditional love of God. But even with that revelation my view of grace was limited.

Join New Heritage in another great Friends Day, packed with great fellowship, food, music, and discussion. We will be serving breakfast, beginning at 9:00 AM. We are asking for a $5 donation from each adult member and $4 for each child 12 years and up. We are going to let our guest eat for free. The menu will include pancakes, bacon and egg casserole.

There are some, many in fact, that decry the current war on terrorism that the United States and her allies are waging. One of the greatest criticisms accuses the “western” allies of imperialism, i.e. imposing our view and dominance on another nation by force. I don’t agree, but I do believe that it is a false notion to believe, as some have said, that all people love freedom.
