Our Core Beliefs

We Believe . . .
• There is One God who exists in three persons who, alone are to be worshiped: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of God and the Holy Spirit of God who dwells within believers
• The Bible is the inspired word of God
• In the reality of heaven and hell and the presence of Satan
• God loved us so much that he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins and that Jesus rose and went back to heaven
• Christ will one day return to take his followers home to live with him forever
• We are saved by grace through faith in Christ with our sins covered by his blood
• Salvation is God's free gift available to all
• We are called to repentance and to be immersed, confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior
• We arise as new creatures clothed in Christ and, as such begin our process of being discipled, being called to imitate His life
• We are called to a ministry of help and service to others in need and to practice grace and forgiveness toward others
