Wishes for the New Year

By Larry Wilson - Posted on 05 January 2010

In our culture many people use the beginning of the calendar year to set personal goals.  While any time can be a good time to decide to replace a poor habit with a good habit, it may be easier to start now when so many friends and relatives are also changing.   In what ways would you like to be different at the end of 2010 than you are today, and what would you be willing to do to make the change happen? Here's a suggestion: resolve to become more like God in 2010, then pick one habit to work on.  Maybe you can be a peacemaker.  Maybe you can be more tolerant, or become a better listener.  God can use any of these traits in 2010 to help others see Him in you.
