Most of us are used to being told what to do. We have had our parents, our teachers, our bosses, our politicians, our religious leaders. As the pyramid of authority has become more and more distinctive most of us have abdicated our responsibility to make decisions.

Good Discusion of the future of NH (10/4)
Thanks to everyone who enjoyed lunch and a conversation with the Shepherd couples this afternoon, October 4. Everyone wanted to discuss some aspect of Terry's point in his sermon this morning that he plans to do something different than preach every week no later than the end of 2010. We talked about where we'd go look for another Terry. We talked about what NH might look like if we had a different preacher. We talked about who we do attract and who we haven't been attracting.
